Rachelle The Rabbit Distillery (RTR) began with a simple foundation, fermentation. Established in 2015 as Singapore’s first licensed meadery, the distillery built its early identity around honey, time, and patience. That foundation continues to shape everything it produces today.
Now operating as one of Singapore’s most complete distilleries, RTR manages every stage of production in-house, from fermentation to distillation, maturation, and bottling. This control allows the team to experiment with regional ingredients such as rice, coconut sugar, and botanicals while maintaining consistency and quality across its portfolio.
At the heart of its whiskey programme is tropical maturation. Singapore’s equatorial climate accelerates the interaction between spirit and wood, resulting in whiskies that develop depth, structure, and aromatic complexity in a shorter time frame. Rather than replicating traditional Scotch or Japanese styles, RTR focuses on building a distinct identity shaped by climate and region.
Beyond its core range, the distillery operates multiple brands tailored to different audiences, from expressive craft spirits to efficient, trade-oriented house pours. Across all categories, the approach remains the same: thoughtful production, balanced flavour, and a clear sense of origin.
