Dry Wave Cocktail Studio, a creative classic cocktail space founded by Palm Supawit Muttarattana. With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Palm brings a wealth of expertise gained from his journey as a barista, award-winning bartender, brand ambassador at leading global beverage company and the latest role as group beverage director has expanded his skills even further.

Dry Wave embodies the harmony of two contrasting elements, where opposites perfectly coexist. The name draws inspiration from nature itself: the grounded strength of trees and the fluid movement of ocean waves. Every detail of the venue's design reflects this unique combination, with wave-patterned walls made from real sand surrounding the bar, creating a warm and inviting ambiance, accompanied by a large tree in the middle of the bar area. We aim to craft a seamless customer experience where every design touch points speak the same language—from the first interaction on social media, to the moment guests step into the bar, and through every page of our signature cocktail menu. Dry Wave is built on the idea of contrast in harmony: two opposing elements coexisting perfectly within one space.

For its cocktail concept, Dry Wave Cocktail Studio presents the “Super Classic” signature menu— where two iconic classic cocktails are thoughtfully combined into one. Each drink seamlessly merges contrasting flavor profiles, resulting in modern signatures that honor the past while feeling entirely new. One highlight is an unexpected pairing “Morning Tijuana” which is a combination of Division Bell with Breakfast Martini or “Casoni Martini” which is inspired from Negroni and Espresso Martini. The menu aims to take drinkers on a journey, experiencing collection of drinks that feel both familiar and unexpected, where classic signals collide and resolve into a new harmony. Supawit 'Palm' Muttarattana, a luminary in the Bangkok bar scene since 2009, has not only witnessed the evolution of mixology in the city but has been a driving force behind its transformation. Palm's journey in the world of cocktails began at The St. Regis Bangkok, where he cultivated a profound love for the art. His dedication and mastery of mixology earned him the prestigious title of Diageo World Class Thailand 2012 winner, subsequently leading him to compete in the Global Finals in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Taking the next leap in his illustrious career, Palm assumed the role of Brand Ambassador for Diageo Reserve Thailand. His passion for nurturing talent and shaping the future of mixology manifested through training sessions for emerging bartenders and strategic consulting for various establishments. Palm's influence became synonymous with many of Bangkok’s successful bar stories.

In 2019, Palm achieved a remarkable feat by winning the 'Campari Bartender Competition ASIA 2019' in Milan, Italy, triumphing over 350+ bartenders from across Asia. This triumph was complemented by his recognition as 'Bartender of the Year' by The Bar Awards Thailand 2019, solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the industry.

Palm's four-year tenure with Foodie Collection Group showcased his prowess as the Group Bar Manager. Under his guidance, Vesper attained the distinguished ranking of No. 62 in the World’s Best Bars 2021, as well as being listed in Asia’s 50 Best Bars from 2017 to 2021. During the same period, 80/20 Bangkok received the prestigious 1 Star Michelin Thailand accolade from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, as one of the partners at Backstage Cocktail Bar, also listed in Asia’s 50 Best Bars, Palm played a pivotal role in their continued success.

In May 2021, Palm embraced a new challenge by joining Watermelon Group, where he oversaw renowned venues such as Rabbit Hole, Crimson Room, Bar Marco, Canvas, and Fuchsia, further cementing his status as one of Thailand's leading mixologists.

Now, in 2024, Palm is taking the next step in his extraordinary journey by opening his own venture, Dry Wave Cocktail Studio. The bar is set to be a testament to Palm's unwavering dedication to the craft of mixology, promising an immersive experience that reflects his years of expertise and passion.

His outstanding achievements have earned him top industry recognition, including being named 'Bartender of the Year' by both Thailand's 20 Best Bars 2024 and the BK B.A.D. Awards in 2025—a testament to his ongoing impact on the cocktail scene.
